Great apart from strange accounts process

Pros: All round pretty good. Nice room. 5 O’Clock somewhere bar great. Good location for restaurants and trolley

Cons: The accounts system is crazy. I had a block booking for 20 nights but they only charged part of it then cancelled that and charged a different amount! Difficult to know where I was. On check out I got a final statement but they charged a significantly higher amount. Finally got it refunded a few days later. I have traveled the world for many years both business and personal. Never had anything like this.

Lovely hotel with very modern facilities

Pros: Very modern hotel. Clean New or recently refurbished Good restaurant In the main area of Gas Town Close to the sea front (not beach area) Art Deco rooms

Cons: Nothing about the hotel, although the air conditioning was a little on the cold side. However, beware this area, Gas Town, has a lot of vagrants who can be quite intimidating in the evening.

Great location and value for the cost of the room.

Pros: I liked the pool and was able to use it once. The temperature was nice in the pool, and the ready towel supply and lounge chairs was excellent.

Cons: I would have liked some alternatives to use the 5 o'clock somewhere bar when the area was in use for private events, but it wasn't too inconvenient. I did stop at the restaurant for a meal, but staff were so busy it was unclear if I should seat myself or wait to be seated. I ended up going elsewhere as a result.

Pros: Very nice hotel and direct in the gaslamp district. Room are very comfortable. Personal very friendly.

Pros: Great location! Super comfy beds & all the amenities we needed!

A good option for Downtown.

Pros: Spotless room, great location, lovely bars and restaurant. Roof top pool and bar was a nice treat after a days sightseeing.

Cons: Bathrooms need refreshing as very old, awful water pressure, loud fighting guests in hallway at night that didn’t get dealt with.

Pros: Very nice hotel overall. - Very close to the convention center and city center in general. - Nice rooms, had basically everything I could expect. - The gym was above average compared to other hotels of similar class. - 10 dollar budget per night for breakfast. The breakfast was quite pricy but still a nice gift. - Free citrus-infused water in the lobby was great!

Cons: - The cleaning missed out two days out of seven. Wouldn't mind for linens, but we were quickly running out of plastic glasses and coffee. - Huge pillows.

Great pet and family friendly hotel in the Gaslamp District

Pros: Convenient location within easy walking distance of the harbour, Petco Park and a wide choice of bars and restaurants. Large rooms with very comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Extremely clean and very quiet, even though this is a lively district.

Cons: Nothing about the hotel, but San Diego has a large number of homeless people, and there were several around the district. This would not prevent me from staying there again, but it’s something you should be aware of when visiting the city.

Good location and room, should be great in summer with the pool bar life (Nov was so rainy)

Pros: Location, Location Room size and great bedding. Right in the heart of Gaslamp Quarter

Cons: Check in at 4pm and check out at 11am, really ? Food quality very average at Lambshark
