1906 Lodge

Pros: Monse and her team has been very accomodating. I love the historical feeling of the house. The condition of the house js so well maintained, it feels very comfortable and home like. Breakfast and happy hour have been pleasant. It feels like coming home after an afternoon at beach. I love there's a fireplace in the second room, it feels very nice. The house is close to Coronado beach, restaurants and cafes.

A fabulous stay at this warm & friendly little hotel.

Pros: The location in Coronado is fantastic and the breakfasts are home made & delicious. The beds are exceptionally comfortable with lovely bed linen & well stocked bathrooms. There are delicious Happy Hour drinks (wine, beer & Sangria) plus a scrummy snack plate offered at 4pm which is a great chance to meet & chat to other guests (if you want to!). But it’s the staff who really add the cherry to the icing at this little hotel (more of a delightful B&B). All the staff - without exception - were warm, friendly & hospitable. They really made our stay special & memorable. Thank you to you all!

Comfortable quiet hotel

Pros: Nice comfortable rooms, good breakfast, very peaceful area to come back to every night. The cookies in the room upon arrival were a nice touch. Itzel was so friendly and helpful when I checked it.

Cons: Everything including housekeeping was great for the majority of my stay. However, I need to mention that I got back quite late around 11:30 PM on the last night of my stay to find that the door to my room had been accidentally left unlatched. This obviously made me feel very unsafe and stressed knowing that my room had been open all day while I was gone. Please can housekeeping make sure to shut the room doors behind them after they are done?

We loved everything about 1906 Lodge

Pros: We loved everything about 1906 Lodge. It has such a tranquil feel and the area is very quiet and within easy walking distance to the beach, bars and Corronado Village. All the staff were super friendly together with a great room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a lovely surprise with something different every morning. Corronado is such a beautiful place and very chilled. We used the City Tour Trolley to discover San Diego and one of the stops is 5 minute walk from 1906 Lodge. Highly recommend for couples.

Pros: It was a stellar pearl to discover. Very beautiful, cosy place with stellar staff. Way more appealing than big 'factories'.

Nice, cosy and comfortable

Pros: The hotel had a friendly staff, a nice clean room, and well-maintained facilities.

Cons: The breakfast was OK, but the lack of choices, small portions and a decent coffee machine would be a good investment, especially for tourists from Europe.

Excellent 2 night stay in beautiful Coronado.

Pros: Everything! Our room The Plunge was enormous. The Lodge is in a great and quiet location, walking distance to bars, restaurants and the gorgeous beach near The Del. Breakfast was delicious and the staff super friendly. Great place!

Cons: Everything was perfect!

Pros: Fresh, large rooms. Personal touch. Breakfast solution was perfect! No buffet-nonsense, but freshly made by staff every day.

Excellent place to stay in a nice relaxing setting.

Pros: This is a great place to stay - close to everything you could need and the staff were very accommodating when I asked for a vegan option for breakfast. Really enjoyed the food! The room was very spacious and comfortable, the bed was also huge and I had a great sleep. The bathroom was amazing - a huge whirlpool bath and a very spacious shower. Excellent place to stay!

Cons: Nothing - the property is lovely.

Charming anniversary stay

Pros: The staff was wonderful. There was a woman there, unfortunately, I don't remember her name she's originally from Brazil she has a short bob hairstyle. She was fabulous! She made our stay with her warmth and kindness. We really enjoyed talking to her, she was a gem.

Cons: The mattress is a bit too firm and they do not provide any gluten-free options. You can hear some noise from the street, but not too much.
