A great budget option

Pros: A high standard for this price! Excellent cleanliness, daily housekeeping, friendly staff, comfortable beds, and earlier check-in are possible. A simple breakfast is included in the price.

Cons: Very loud AC fans; a quite sketchy neighbourhood (nothing too bad though).

Pros: Location was amazing ! It was extremely comfy and clean

Cons: Our door wouldn’t close the first night, we asked reception as we were 3 girls travelling, to fix it for us before we slept, and nothing was done. We were on the ground floor, and ended up having to push a table up against the door to ensure no one could enter. However, the next morning, we asked the female worker at the desk, and she was much more attentive and told us it would be done ASAP

Affordable, spacious room, good value for money, professional staff, great location. Nice stay

Pros: The room was pretty clean except for some ants that were crawling around in the bathroom. Everything else was as expected - the room was spacious, with two good sized and comfortable beds. There was a fridge and a microwave but no kettle (which I guess is standard in the U.S.) The staff were all very professional, friendly and courteous. The air con in the room was very good. The location was great - five minute walk to 5th Avenue trolley station - also close to Balboa Park. The area was nice and we felt safe walking around even at night. The price was very good and the hotel was what I expected for that price.

Cons: The ants that were crawling around in the bathroom and on one or two occasions on the foot of the bed.
