A + Customer Service The way hotels use to be

Pros: They were just so nice what hotels use to be like in the 90s just so accommodating and nice I will go out of my way to stay there again

Cons: The staff and the rooms were clean and well kept you can tell it’s family own They really take pride in their hotel and the service they provide I had a car accident and was healing they were so nice and accommodating I was so grateful I will go out of my way to stay here again

Rooms, service, location, everything was great and I can't wait to return.

Pros: The room was great, comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and professional, always available for service/questions and made sure I was satisfied with my room. Everything about my stay was excellent, no issues or complaints. I will 100% come back, thank you Lodge for making my trip more relaxing and memorable.

Pros: Price isn't always everything. This is probably one of the best hidden secrets in the San Diego area. very friendly staff, comfortable bed, room is very spacious. Will visit this place again if I'm ever back to visit San Diego.

Conveniently-located hotel for an overnight stay

Pros: Check in and check out were very smooth and convenient, and there was ample parking when I arrived. My room was very spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light. The location has convenient access to downtown, Balboa Park, and the freeway.

Cons: If you stay in one of the rooms on the east side of the property, make sure to close your bathroom door in case you want to sleep in. If you don't, the sunrise will shine right into your face. This was only a small negative, since I wanted get up early in the morning to visit Balboa Park before I checked out. You need to be careful when exiting the property, since it is very hard to see the fast-moving cars coming south along 32nd Street without sticking your nose pretty far out.
