It did enough for what I needed.

Pros: Great location for the Trolley station to get everywhere.

Cons: Room could've been cleaner but satisfied with it being only there for 3 days.

Great value and central location, but noisy due to trains passing.

Pros: Great price, especially for the San Diego area. Still very close to downtown, good train/highway connection. Many shopping/dining options nearby. Lots of parking space. Neighborhood is okay. Definitely not as sketchy as other reviews here make it seem.

Cons: It's next to a train track, so expect noise/train horns, even in the middle of the night.

Pros: One of the beds in the room was comfortable should both beds have been comfortable I would have given you on the 10 on everything thank you

The staff makes up for what the property lacks.

Pros: Everyone that works there are great. Very helpful & friendly.

Cons: The bathroom could definitely use a makeover.

Improvements since 2017 - no issues with staff or management

Pros: It’s the most affordable accommodation close to Point Loma, Old Towne, & the convention center. I last stayed here in 2017 and there have been huge improvements as far as comfort and overall safety. The rooms weren’t 5 star cleanly, it’s a 2 star motel. I’m pretty sure I had an interaction with every front office employee - don’t put your room key Mex to your smart phone, deactivates super easily - and every employee treated me with kindness and respect. Michael is the only one I can remember by name, he was very professional and helpful when I extended my stay. I never saw an employee just chilling being unproductive, it’s visible the housekeeping staff was trying to make miracles in a 4 hour window between checkout and new guest check in. I was in the back building first floor and had no issues with noise from the Highway or guests above me.

Cons: Since it was a heat wave, there were tons of guests taking advantage of the pool to cool off. Which I guess isn’t a negative, but would’ve been nice to have some time in the jacuzzi without a bunch of kids having a blast haha. Also some of the other dog owners weren’t responsible about picking up after their pet, that wasn’t cool

Pros: I took the san diego flyer airport shuttle for free to old town trolley station right at the facilities front door very accomidati.ng since its the only free shuttle with no trolley stop at our airport

Cons: I did lile it and was accomidated by thier sister former motel across the street \

Pros: The staff is like family. I have been going here for years. They have a swimming pool and Jacuzzi that is open till 10 pm . It is a comfortable motel that makes you feel like family is all around.

Exact cheat I needed that night, not more but certainly not less

Pros: The price and I love the night shift girl, she is just easy to deal with, efficient, and is so good at dealing with tough situations.

Cons: Pillows kinda. Suck
