Excellent hotel and location

Pros: Room was comfortable and very quiet. Hotel staff was excellent, food was unique and tasty. celebrated new years eve at the hotel and had an exception time.

Cons: Had a problem with the garage entrance and cost, but one of the hotel staff (Raj) helped me resolve it before I checked out.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in it was just wonderful from start to finish.

Pros: The location and setting was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. Restaurants were lovely with beautiful views. The pool area was gorgeous and spacious.

Pros: A very nice looking hotel with great pools in a relaxed area. The gym is also perfect!

Cons: Parking prices are unreasonably high. And the airconditioning was leaking so the floor in front of the bathroom was totally wet. This was very annoying and couldn’t be fixed.

Beautiful hotel shouldn't lose its grand entrance staircase and traditional look

Pros: Kevin Sun, one of the managers, and his front desk team were amazing.

Cons: To know that the grand staircase that is a focal point at the hotel and that frames the beautiful bay as you walk into the hotel, which guests love, is going to get removed to create a more business clinical-like hotel foyer when the Loews company renovated the hotel which will cost millions. That will surely affect future rates and the hotel will no longer be family friendly but more geared towards corporate business.

Spacious, clean rooms with views to both the ocean and the bay!

Pros: We loved the location on Coronado. Our room was fantastic with an amazing view of both the ocean and the bay / bridge. We upgraded ourselves to the suite and were impressed by the open floor plan, the full bar, several balconies, each with a different view. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable - especially Rick at the front desk - who took extra special care of us with a welcome gift upon check in. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Good place

Pros: Very nice hotel. Clean rooms and nice surroundings. Nice with the shuttle to Coronado.

Cons: Parkering was unreasonably expensive - 47 dollars pr night is ridiculous. It’s a private area only for guests so no reason to charge so much.

Nice resort far away from everything

Pros: We upgraded to a suite which was large (78m2) Balcony to sit outside Nice outside lounge to enjoy the sunset

Cons: The sofa pull out bed was very uncomfortable Expensive parking No breakfast included at that price The location is far away from everything - nothing in walk in distance

Lovely hotel

Pros: Lovely big room - had partial sea view. Nice to have a bath and a shower. Nice location although car required to get to any local shops/ restaurants etc. easy 20 - 30 mins to most city attractions. Parking was good but expensive.

Cons: Very little flexibility for late check out and not willing to give a decision till morning we were leaving
