Great stay and views. Very quiet and comfortable

Pros: The facility is great. Complimentary Hot Tub, and affordable Sauna available.

Cons: Although the interior is nice, it does not really matches that well with the exterior of the building. But everything is so nice and comfortable. Dinner options are just ok, simple and basic but great option to have dinner there still due to the concept and comfort.

Unexpected gem—highly recommend!

Pros: Up in the SoCal mountains overlooking Lake Cuyamaca. Property is on a hillside and is quite tranquil. Outstanding staff! Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was surprisingly diverse and fresh, not like your chain hotels. Definitely recommend!

Cons: A little tricky finding it—at least my app had problems. There is a sign but it’s gold lettering on red and doesn’t really stand out so missed it the first time.

Pros: very friendly helpful staff! vegetarian meals are excellent! cosy bedroom. slept like a baby. everything very clean. nice bathroom. good breakfast. wonderful view. as this is a meditation and spa resort you have a lot of options to enhance your stay. I shall come back soon.

Pros: The hotel, which I treated as an ordinary overnight stay on the way to Joshua Tree park, turned out to be exceptional. Beautifully located with a view of the lake. A wonderful outdoor jacuzzi from which you could observe deer. Very good breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view. A wonderful meditation room. I regretted that I was only staying one night, but my travel plan required further travel

A wonderful relaxing holiday in a beautiful location.

Pros: This is our second time here and we're glad we came back. The room was very clean with everything you need, the view of the lake was impressive. The breakfast was delicious, and in general the atmosphere in the kitchen was very pleasant. But most importantly, we found ourselves in a peaceful environment and had a wonderful rest. Thank you!

Pros: Very nice room with a gorgeous shady balcony overlooking the lake, very relaxing. Nice people, decent continental breakfast. We enjoyed this. There is a nice pub by the lake as well and you can rent kayaks etc, 20 mins to Julian, all great

Cons: We liked everything about the property. They run meditation sessions, so guests should be reasonably quiet. It is not possible to swim in the lake, pity!

Pros: Small and cute hotel with around 10 suites. View of the lake was amazing, and room stayed cool even in the heat of June. Very quiet. We definitely took advantage of the hot tub to relax the legs.

Pros: Lovely staff (Sarah), quality healthy food both delivered to the room for dinner and for the breakfast buffet, nice toiletries, awesome rain shower head

Cons: Buddhist theme is prominent in the common areas (not a bad thing just something to be aware of), quiet is encouraged but rooms have TVs (I didn't mind that at all but kept my volume very low), room had no place to sit except for on bed or at two dining chairs but there was no table. Bed was soft but a little lumpy. The weirdest thing was that I was awoken in the morning by a loud noise that sounded like someone repeatedly slamming a door (or a cupboard) and stomping up and down the hallway outside my room, which was particularly odd considering the emphasis on peace and quiet.

Overall, our experience in Julian was unforgettable.

Pros: Our recent stay in Julian was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and breathtaking views of the serene lake. The room with its lake view was simply spectacular, offering us the perfect backdrop for a tranquil retreat.

Cons: Nothing in particular, I really love the experience. Probably the prices on massage were a little bit higher than were I expected, but nothing impossible to pay.
