Enjoyable, relaxing stay for us not too far from home.

Pros: Breakfast was lovely, Room was very small, It is a very old hotel so that was expected. Bed was comfy. We enjoyed sitting in the garden having a glass of wine.

Cons: I honestly cannot complain about anyhting.

Historic gem in heart of Julian

Pros: Location and the historical buildings . Amazing attention to detail down to music in lobby, decor and old photographs . Loved the porch and patio . Legendary breakfasts

Quaint, historic one night stay.

Pros: Quaint, historic feel with lots of decorations, paintings etc that gave a gold rush vibe. It felt like the right place to be in Julian. Staff all very nice and helpful, good breakfast. Only stayed one night as part of a road trip - and it was a good choice for that. Not sure I’d have wanted to stay much longer.

Cons: Not enough tables to accommodate everyone for breakfast if they turn up at the same time so you might have to wait.
