San Diego Mission Bay Resort

Very fun family friendly hotel

Pros: The facilities were great, we spent more time than expected playing ping pong with the kids by the pool! There were also Smoores Night while we were there and the kids got to try their first Smoores. We also loved the fire pits. Loved the big prop chairs for family pictures. Food at the restaurants was AMAZING

Cons: The hotel itself was great, it was clean and the staff were for the most part very helpful and lovely. I didn't like the $7 bottles of water in the room - water should be included as part of your stay given its a very fundamental necessity.

Awesome stay with kids

Pros: Proximity to the beach area and mission ocean park. Lively place and the garden outside is an amazing place for the kids to run around

Pros: Hi there I booked room from third party and room spoused to for two adults and two kids and I paid for extra it was next to pool once I checked it out room was only for three it was not good experienced u

Pros: Room with vaulted ceilings was amazing, big and roomy.

Cons: I was charged substantially more than what was quoted on the original booking.

Great for families and close to zoo

Pros: Great position on the waterfront Cafe at reception for early morning coffees

Cons: 5miles from centre of San Diego and parking by a restaurant was not always easy

Fantastic and relaxing. A true San Diego experience!

Pros: Location was perfect, you felt disconnected from everything. Staff was amazing, super friendly and welcoming especially at Mission Joe’s and Covewood. Rooms always kept clean. I do find it a little pricey however!

Cons: Prices, maybe some meals should be included.

It was great stay!

Pros: Covewood was fantastic but I wished the front person would be more delighted to welcome us. Servers were amazing! Always happy to be there.

Cons: Please renovate the rooms. Very outdated. Have more bigger pool.

A short Uber ride from all main areas and the airport this resort has everything you would need. we stayed 5 nights

Absolutely loved this place.

Pros: Location, location, location! Grounds were beautiful! The food…excellent. We chose this from three we were thinking about for a quick anniversary trip! We picked the right one!

Cons: The rooms were a bit underwhelming and even though “refreshed”, still seemed out-dated. Please put a regular coffee maker and extra garbage can in the rooms! The bed was comfortable!
