Fairfield Inn & Suites San Diego Old Town

Pros: Despite extensive renovations that I was unaware of - this was not updated by Booking.com - the property was comfortable. Good breakfast, nice outdoor area. We discovered the hop on-off bus from Old Town - totally worth it! Otherwise getting into city - car needed.

Lovely San Diegan Hotel

Pros: Nice hotel just a short way away from downtown and transport networks, professional and polite staff, quiet and clean room

Cons: Sorting out laundry was a bit tedious

Great stay in Old Town

Pros: Great location, clean , modern room comfortable bed . Staff friendly . Close to Old Town .

Pros: Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the complementary breakfast.

Cons: Parking nor WiFi was not included in the rate. A bit inconvenience. It should have for the amount paid.

Great place to stay.

Pros: The hotel is in the centre of Del Mar, near bars and restaurants and has great view of the ocean.

Cons: Breakfast was included but that’s only if the guy working there turns up which he didn’t two of the four days. Definitely needs addressing.

Pros: My wife was saying that was one of the best breakfast we had in a hotel. we had stay in the courtyard hotel a couple of times but fairway Inn and suites was way better. I recommend Fairway inn &suites you won’t be disappointed

Cons: The only thing was the parking is $30 and also if you have a truck or SUV you can’t park in there underground parking because it’s too low

In all, my night was perfect and my morning was peaceful.

Pros: Breakfast was good, my room was beyond perfect with enough space, The workers were insanely sweet. During breakfast, one lady even brought out fresh eggs for me.

Cons: I loved everything except the fact that there were no more blankets, the hotel ran out of them I suppose. It was pretty cold. Other than that everything was fine. Well except the watery oatmeal.

Felt like home!

Pros: Wonderful location, very clean, breakfast was delicious in fact that’s the reason we opted for this hotel again. Staff exceptionally friendly, the breakfast area was maintained very clean and great food variety including fresh made waffles. Location close to buses , train, trolley and walking distance to old town.

Cons: Room seemed a little beat up and a little dusty but linens were clean. Also think it could use another chair.

Wonderful Stay at Beautiful Renovated Hotel.

Pros: Location was perfect for our early morning flight out of San Diego Airport. Easy free street parking just outside our room. Newly remodeled room and hotel was spotless with all new amenities and fixtures. Check-in location was a temporary set-up while renovations were ongoing. Staff members were very gracious and helpful, especially given our very brief stay and the unsettled circumstances related to the renovations.

Cons: Ongoing renovations couldn't be helped and staff seemed to do everything possible to minimize the disruption to guests.

Very loud, dust, smell of paint. Drilling all day long

Pros: Under construction, Terrible noise, dust, will not stay there again.
