Pros: Good amenities, excellent walking distance to downtown, very clean and bright. Overall very comfortable.

Very kind and friendly staff

Pros: The apartment we'd booked looked nice and bright but unfortunately we couldn't stay there as the previous guests hade smoked indoors, in spite of the clear signs saying that smoking was prohibited. Obviously, this was beyond the owners' control and the staff did everything they could to help us under the circumstances. They refunded the money for the stay and took us to a studio apartment in a nearby location where we could stay instead, so all was well in the end and we felt very well looked after :-)

Lovely studio, fabulous city.

Pros: The property was about 20 minutes walk from the many bars and restaurants in the renowned Gaslamp Quarter. The studio was very clean and fairly spacious and the amenities were of a good standard. Across the road is the beautiful Balboa Park, ideal for anyone with young children. There is some free parking space outside the property as well as across the street and should you need to, you can secure your vehicle in the basement of the complex for a reasonable daily rate. Parking needs to be considered before choosing a hotel closer to the many attractions and this was the main reason for choosing this hotel. You simply won’t get anything free within the Gaslamp area.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike about this property, but just to make people aware of its proximity to all the attractions. This is a major and indeed beautiful US city so don’t expect everything on your doorstep.

Wonderful staff, clean and spacious rooms in the middle of a loud city.

Pros: The staff were extremely friendly. The rooms were very nice, very clean and spacious. Location was central and had its own little parking garage.

Cons: Our room had no dresser. Others did, but not ours. This isn't a big deal to everyone, but I like to unpack when I stay somewhere. Also, it would be nice to have a full size ironing board. The flimsy one in there was pretty useless, and considering there was no dresser, we had to iron often. Also, the location is very, very loud at night, being in the middle of the city, and outside was constant smell of urine. It's expected considering the location; just be aware before booking. People upstairs were also loud, just from moving around and walking.

Centrally located and very convenient for multiple parts of San Diego. Great value for the price.

Pros: Centrally located which made it easy to walk to Downtown/Gaslamp, Little Italy, the Zoo, Museums etc in Balboa Park. Room had everything I needed, was quiet, clean, nice shower and plenty of space. Wifi worked very well. CVS was less than a block away for little items/snacks drinks that I needed throughout the weekend. Staff was very responsive to messages and was also very accommodating.
