Enjoyed facility amenities and grounds but room condition disappointing.

Pros: Did not have breakfast at the hotel; pricing out of line.

Cons: Room furniture somewhat broken down; balcony paint peeling….not aprpriate for room average at best.

This was my 3rd time at this facility. Top shelf...

Pros: We spent nearly every day at either the pool or beach club, and we dined in all restaurants on property. I was also able to get in a round of golf, while my wife and daughters enjoyed the spa.

Cons: The weather was a bit gloomy, but clearly outside of the resort's control. :)

One of the best mini-vacations we have ever had, we loved the hotel & will definitely go back.

Pros: Everything, from the ambiance, facilitates, rooms & staff. It was a perfect stay, we extended our stay because we loved the place so much. The staff were beyond accommodating, especially Lori at the front desk/reception (my kids adored her), Jorge at one of the main restaurants during breakfast (there are plenty of restaurant choices in the resort), Dan at the Spa/Nail salon & Parker who was the sweet driver of the Tram (my kids adored him too) & everyone at the pool. Every single staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Beautiful hotel

Pros: Housekeeping was amazing, turn down service very much noticed and appreciated

Cons: The 750 hold on the room was excessive and not necessary The beach club was beautiful but not close to the hotel

The resort has all the amenities we were looking for and customer service was an A+.

Pros: Great location. Eat on the deck and experienced a view of the pool area and ocean.

Cons: The price was a little on the expensive side.

An Amazing and relaxing get away

Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food at the Bourbon Steakhouse was amazing! The staff were polite and friendly. The views and amenities on the property were great.

Cons: For the price of the hotel I feel the sparkling water in the room should be complimentary (although they do provide complimentary bottled water). There were no wash cloths in the room. I also prefer softer 2 ply toilet paper.

Pros: Waldorf Astoria in Dana point, is an excellent choice for a couple's getaway! Me and my wife were celebrating 15 year wedding anniversary. From pulling into the main entrance, you are warmly greeting with a smile and excellent service. This property is very beautiful and we look forward to returning in the future!
