Feel like home

Pros: I like the family welcoming that I had at my arrived in. All the guests was super friendly and we made a lot of stuffs together (fire camp, surf…)

Cons: Honestly, nothing that I didn’t like..

Good stay if you want to be walking distance from the surf and good food (not always easy in San Diego), mind the busine

Pros: Friendly staff, beach towels available! Cheap surf board hire.

Cons: Loud music nearby which goes late into the night (hostel does offer ear plugs, cost of such a convenient location). Could offer some social activities like board game or movie nights (both already on site) to bring people together

Nice hostel, clean and well located.

Pros: The Hostel is nice and very well located. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The staff is really nice and helpful.

Cons: More hooks in the bathroom would be useful and the breakfast was a bit disapointing.

Pros: Very nice hostel, met a lot of nice people there. The position is one of the best ones in San Diego. The amenities are good as well as the bathrooms. Breakfast is essential but with a great choice

Wonderful people, good location, clean rooms,

Pros: Clean rooms with many separate bathrooms. Breakfast was included, huge social area, well equipped kitchen, no drunk people.

Cons: No curtains on the beds, just a 50 long plastic cover at the head area.

Pros: The location is amazing, right in the centre of OB and steps away from the beach. Room was clean, bed was comfy. The common areas were nice to hang out in and I appreciated the yoga mats and beach towels you can borrow. Breakfast is very limited (waffles, oatmeal, fruit, coffee) and only from 7-9am but still nice to have.

Cons: The rooms are very small. I stayed in a six bed female dorm and on days where all beds are taken it’s hard to move around. No space to put your bags either.
