Stylish Stay in the Heart of Gaslamp
Pros: Ideally located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, on a relatively quiet block, I wasn’t really bothered by street noise, even though my windows were facing the street. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated. The room was small and very cozy, the décor is truly well done, and the bathroom was very clean. I loved the self-service coffee station on the landing! (And even though the one on my floor needed some maintenance, I was able to use the one upstairs.)
Cons: The neighborhood is difficult for parking, and the city’s parking restrictions make it hard to fully enjoy an evening out in addition to your hotel stay. (However, there are private parking options available around the area.)

Overall the Granger had a very comfortable vibe.
Pros: My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the Granger. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. They have a variety of breakfast items. Outside was clean considering the area but still felt comfortable walking around after dark. Also enjoyed the complementary Nespresso and snacks that were included on our floor.
Cons: Website states free cocktail when you arrive and breakfast was included with the room. We were charged for both and had to have them remove the charges. Drinks were a bit pricey.

Fabulous!!
Pros: The room was beautiful, everything single detail was perfect.
Cons: I think the guys at the bar need to learn how to approach customers. Kindness and courtesy take a minute.

All in all these are just small critique points. It is a great hotel!
Pros: I loved the design, healthy breakfast, and my room (the bed was also very comfortable), and nespresso coffee.
Cons: - There was a smell everywhere in the hotel, which I found unpleasant (maybe it was some air deodorant of some sort, I am not sure). - Also breakfast could start half an hour earlier, I always hat to rush to be somewhere at 8:00. - The height of the shower was not adjustable, but I quests it is common in the US.

Good hotel and location
Pros: The location, the decor and comfort of the hotel. The staff were very good 😊
Cons: The breakfast could be better. Despite having breakfast well within the time guidelines, the hot food was already cold, with one hour to go before close. This was disappointing as it was tasty, just cold.

An exceptionally charming hotel
Pros: An exceptionally charming hotel; the old hotel has been beautifully renovated with great attention to detail. The many plants and beautiful furniture give the hotel an extraordinary flair. Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, coffee machines, tea, water and small snacks on every floor are very welcome. (one small caveat: the hotel is not located by the sea but on 5th Avenue, which is particularly lively at weekends).

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, impressive breakfast
Pros: Generous delicious breakfast. Clean rooms and attractive lobby.
Cons: Gaslamp quarter may have been the wrong fit for us. Mainly bars and lots of vagrants
