Great stay in downtown SD

Pros: Good location in downtown SD. Clean and spacious room. Descent gym. Breakfast options were OK, but service was a bit slow some days.

Wonderful stay. Would recommend.

Pros: My mom and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff surprised us with a chilled bottle of wine and wished my mom a happy birthday, also did a free upgrade for us. We were also surprised to receive a daily $20 food/drinks that we could spend at the hotel's bar and restaurant. That was a pleasant bonus to start our mornings with a great cappuccino and a delicious breakfast. Staff were very pleasant, always smiling and cheerful.

Cons: The only down side is the homeless hanging out in the neighborhood, but other than than the location was central.

Exceptional and worth every star - highly recommend

Pros: Everything was just exceptional. It’s modern, really well furnished, stylish, relaxing. Staff were lovely throughout. Rooms spacious and bright. Great pool and gym and entertainment options. Incredibly well connected for public transport and close to Balboa park. Good breakfast and coffee. Honestly surpassed my expectations!

Cons: Hair dryers not strong enough for thick hair - newer, stronger ones would be appreciated

Pros: Great location, walkable to everything! Having a pool to relax in after a day of exploring is perfect.

Pros: Really comfy and well-apportioned room and bathroom. Staff went above and beyond to facilitate a great stay (and you should tip accordingly, they damn well deserve it). Vibe of the hotel was so laid back and welcoming.

Great location lovely hotel

Pros: Lovely property, modern design and finishes - staff very helpful - excellent location as close to everything int the gas lamp but not too noisy as just above the top end of it

Cons: The wardrobes were very old mahogany that looked a bit tired. Looked like everything had been updated except these.

Lovely hotel, good location and helpful staff.

Pros: Great location for downtown and close to restaurants and night life. Helpful staff that offered us an alternative to breakfast which we had to miss due to other plans.

Cons: The booking included a complementary glass of wine which was a nice idea, although they didn’t want to serve it in a wine glass! Instead wanted to serve it in a small tumbler glass. Fix this and the whole stay would have been a faultless.
