SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Diego Downtown/Bayfront

Pros: Great location ! Beautiful and cozy hotel. Large room with sofa , great view , friendly staff, nice roof garden and everything was excellent!

Pros: Position is beautiful, staff always kind. Very close and useful parking available but not included.

Solid hotel, but don’t expect too much

Pros: Good location if you like downtown. Good size of the room. Comfortable bed.

Cons: Not clean to the highest standards. Breakfast is poor for European standards, okay for US standards.

Amazing hotel in a beautiful spot!

Pros: Fabulous!! We loved the location, walked everywhere, even as far as balboa park. Felt safe, laid back. Perfect for ferry to coronado, Hotel was clean, stylish, perfect! Pool the perfect way to spend the late afternoon after exploring. View from room amazing! We hope to come back!!

Cons: The bar could have opened earlier, a cold drink by the pool would have been nice. The guy on the bar on the one evening that I ventured up there was rude, kept checking his watch, no customer service..he was the exception though, everyone else super friendly.

Good location

Pros: The hotel is nice and clean and in a good location. A nice car parking which I though it is free and never mentioned the cost when I checked in and found out in the receipt it costs 40 per day.

I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Excellent location to tourist attractions, dining options and across the street from the Disney cruise terminal.

Cons: The overflow dining room felt impersonal.

Pros: super view. very nice loacated in SD. nice rooftop bar.

Cons: the breakfast was OK, but i did expect e a little more versatiltiy

Clean modern hotel with great location

Pros: Clean and modern! Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Cons: I really wasn’t a fan of breakfast! It was a very limited choice. Only 4 hot options and 2 of the options were scrambled eggs and scrambled egg whites (every day) which I just couldn’t get my head round. One day waffles were an option when there are 4 waffle machines (that were really nice) on the other side of the room and the continental options didn’t change at all in the week we were there. Little more variety. 8 hot plates but only 4 food options and as mentioned 4 of the 8 were scrambled egg.

Cons: There was a little bit of too much noise at night due to outdoor bar below our room

Relaxed and comfortable stay at a beautiful hotel. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again!

Pros: In a good location very close to the station. Room was bright, clean, spacious and we had gorgeous views of the bay.

Cons: Nothing at all
