A wonderful relaxing golf resort within easy reach of San Diego or LAX airports!

Pros: Breakfast was very good. We used The Verandah and Golf Grill for breakfast; and The Verandah for early dinner. Both were very good.

Cons: We are in our mid 60’s and we enjoy ‘including breakfast’ accommodations which usually provide a quality breakfast buffet. This would be a great addition to Rancho!

Relaxing weekday getaway to re-nourish the soul

Pros: The location is a bit off the beaten path, but if you want to play golf or relax at a spa, off the beaten path is what you want and it does not disappoint.

Very nice atmosphere and very well maintained.

Pros: Very beautiful grounds with lush landscaping and fountains. The room had a balcony that overlooked a garden and it was pleasant to fall asleep to the sound of a fountain.

Cons: There was a frisbee golf course and I didn't really like the noise from people playing frisbee golf early in the morning.

Pros: Big, comfortable room with lovely surroundings, lots of trees, traditional architecture with many fountains, friendly and helpful staff

Cons: Bathroom a bit awkward and dated

Pros: Liked the golf view, AVANT, cafe, veranda , Xmas events, secure area, staff. Area Golf course choices. One of our favorite resorts.

Cons: Parking situation for hotel guests is difficult as they share with golfers. Not enough spaces

Expansive property and gardens were beautiful.

Pros: Expansive property with several pools and garden areas that all feel private and secluded. Restaurants were excellent.

Cons: Spa services were beyond great but the spa itself was small and in bad shape. The massage was full priced but the women’s spa area were extremely small and in need of a major upgrade. The shower was not clean and the hot tub didn’t work.

Great stay for families and kids.

Pros: Spacious, the pools, wonderful staff - nice, responsive & effective; the coffee shops opens at 0600am, and she (the barista) knows how to make excellent coffee!

Cons: The bathroom and toilet suffered from a few malfunctions…
